Recommended Use: Car, Vans, 4WD, 4×4 Only (Monitor up to 60 PSI) – This should not be used on a Trailer, Caravan or Towing Application.

The TP-W408 Internal Tyre Pressure and Temperature Monitor Sensors must be fitted by a professional Tyre fitter. Fitting costs will vary and we recommend that you find out how much your local Tyre shop charges before purchasing this product.

We recommend that Interafce Receiver Module be fitted by a qualified auto electrician or car stereo installer.

The Design
• All sensors contain a long life battery life (Approx 5-7 years)
• Learnable / replacement sensors are available
• Sensors have unique individual codes to ensure there is no interference from other 433MHz devices, even other TP-W408 systems.
• All TP-W408 kits undergo strict field testing to ensure quality.

How it works
The wireless sensors are fitted inside the tyre by a professional tyre fitter. The interface / recceiver module is fitted to your vehicles factory or aftermarket Audio Visual system by an auto electrician or car stereo installer. Your factory or aftermarket Audio Visual unit will require a Reverse Camera Video Input (Standard RCA Input) for best operation. (Note: It will function the same with or without a reverese Camera fitted)
The sensors will then transmit any changes in pressure or temperature. If the Pressure falls 25% below or raises 25% above the user preset levels, the unit will sound and the Audio Visual Screen will automatically switch to the TPMS screen (providing your AV unit supports a Reverse Camera Input) to alert the driver. If this unit is connected to a standard AV input, you will only here an audible alert and you will need to manually switch your screen to AV1 or AV2 depending on your device in order to see your Tyre pressure and temperature information.
